WELCOME

Wow! Our one-of-a-kind clients made this season incredibly memorable for us. We want to thank each of them and their families for placing their trust and investment in Four Seasons Films! Each wedding is a new opportunity for us to serve our clients with our work.

We've been honored, humbled and inspired to witness and document new beginnings at many amazing weddings this year. These short films will best reflect the depth and uniqueness of our current cinematic portfolio. It is our hope that future clients will be inspired and bless us with the privilege of documenting the sights and sounds of their love stories as well. Happy New Year!

3 Dresses...2 Islands...1 Love

A gorgeous, sunny afternoon greeted guests as they disembarked the Daufuskie Island ferry at Haig Point. Renuka and Burke were married on the lush lawns of the Strachan Mansion. Their ceremony was a beautiful blend of both Indian and Christian traditions. As eternal symbols of marriage, Burke tied the minnu around Renuka's neck and also draped the manthrakodi over her head. These are ancient traditions that reflect mutual trust, love and commitment. An elegant reception followed in the grand ballroom of The Westin Resort and Spa on Hilton Head Island. Following the joyful applause of their formal introduction, many friends and loved ones spoke heartfelt toasts to the happy couple. Renuka changed from her wedding gown into a colorful sari for dinner; and then, into another dramatic sari for a wonderfully choreographed first dance with Burke. They danced together like a royal couple, charming and graceful! Blessings to Renuka and Burke on their marriage and as they serve others through the field of medicine.

Disney Fairy Tale at Biltmore

We were flattered when Carrie and Matt called and reserved us 19 months prior to their wedding date. They were so complimentary of our work and completely confident that Four Seasons Films should document their fairy tale celebration. We were honored! Carrie not only worked for Disney as a princess but also as an event planner herself! She knows romance and fairy tales quite well and brims with incredibly creative ideas! The day finally arrived and Carrie's attendants gathered in the suite at the Biltmore Inn to watch the finishing touches to the dazzling bride--a true life princess! Following a ceremony at the century-old Basilica of Saint Lawrence, the newlyweds were chauffeured back to Deerpark on the Biltmore Estate. The grounds had been transformed to match the theme of an enchanted Sherwood Forest! With glowing fireflies and majestic trees, the setting was reminiscent of Carrie's favorite Walt Disney cartoon, Robin Hood. And so, Carrie and Matt and all their guests danced the night away beneath the stars just like in the Disney fairy tale!

Everything just radiated quality! When we finally sat down to watch our Wedding Film, we had goosebumps!!! We laughed and cried, and high-fived each other! You captured and edited everything PERFECTLY!! The final product was everything we wanted and more. As an event planner and a creative, I have very high expectations and you guys presented us with an invaluable memory we will hold onto for the rest of our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
~Carrie and Matt

Cà d’Zan

Victor and Kristi celebrated their wedding day in style at the dazzling Cà d’Zan mansion on Sarasota Bay. The 81-foot Belvedere open-air tower served as the breathtaking backdrop for their private ceremony on the front lawn. The stucco and terra cotta scene certainly provided a warm, inviting Spanish flavor to their film. Their unforgettable first dance as husband and wife on the marble bayfront terrace at sunset defined romance. We were incredibly blessed and inspired by the thoughtful thank you that Kristi sent to us after she and Victor viewed their wedding film.

I could not express to you enough just how much of a heartfelt thanks Victor and I have to you for your wonderful work on our wedding. I am entirely grateful that you both nailed and captured US. On the wedding day, we were all consumed with overwhelming emotion, joy, anxiety, family matters, little details, etc...I felt that we had missed a lot of our own wedding, as weird as that may sound. I am beyond grateful that you captured the day that we can feel so much more a part of our day now! Your work is truly inspiring and more than amazing! You were the very first vendor we picked and I could not be any more happy with our decision! It was the best decision in our wedding planning process that we made! You were the best vendor we had! Thank you SO much for such a priceless work of art that will be treasured for generations to come!!!

With my sincerest gratitude,
Kristi

Mankin Mansion

We first met Sabrina in Mexico at her niece's destination wedding. It was a wonderful surprise when she contacted us to share the exciting news of her recent engagement. She and Quintan were planning a destination wedding for Thanksgiving week at the Historic Mankin Mansion. Ambience filled the cozy bed and breakfast in Richmond, Virginia, as friends and loved ones gathered for a memorable, heart-warming ceremony and reception. Sabrina and Quintan even incorporated postal-themed decor as a tribute to their very first chance meeting in a Texas post office...and so, they lived happily ever after!

HIGHLANDS

Romance filled the mountain village in Highlands, North Carolina, as Kiley and Jeremy celebrated their fall destination wedding with honored guests. The lush, green Nantahala National Forest was now aglow with brightly colored foliage. The Cullasaja Falls were flowing majestically over their 250 foot cascade of massive boulders. Incredible scenery surrounded the ceremony and reception at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn and Spa, a European-style retreat nestled at an elevation of 4,118 feet in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains. It was a pleasure to document these meaningful memories, specifically personal to Kiley and Jeremy.

BILTMORE ESTATE

"Kudos with a capital K" to a dazzling bride, Dominique...Her vision to use the beautiful Biltmore House facade as the all-day backdrop for her mid-summer ceremony and reception was breathtaking. It's a dramatic view that is timeless! Dominique married Captain Andrew DeLaney on Biltmore's majestically manicured front lawn. A cocktail hour with hundreds of guests filled the Library Terrace. Candle-lit lanterns were dangling in the trees that lined the path to their tented reception at Diana. Even the spirited pom-pom send-off into the steamy summer night was perfect!

PARADISE USA

"It's five o'clock somewhere" is a great motto from the Keys and exactly the relaxed feel that Lynette and Ryan created for their guests as they exchanged vows with the sun setting over gorgeous Morada Bay. It may have been December, but the air was pleasantly warm and the melodic sound of steel drums still dances in my ears. Producing a vignette that creatively captures the sights and sounds of the Keys for a terrific couple like Lynette and Ryan definitely makes our job an absolute pleasure. We are very excited to unveil the premiere of their wedding vignette to celebrate new beginnings and this New Year! Contact and book Four Seasons Films now for your upcoming 2010 destination wedding as we will be offering a limited number of very sweet travel deals if your reservation is accepted and confirmed before Valentine's Day 2010!

ARRIVEDERCI

är-ê-vã-'der-chê Italian: farewell: till we meet again.

It was the beautifully scripted message on their classic car as they exited the opulent grounds of Keswick Hall. It was an honor to be the principal cinematographers for Robert and Renee's impeccable-to-the-detail wedding day! Robert Parsons is the founder and chief executive officer of Go Daddy Group, Inc. He and Renee LaBelle were married in a storybook outdoor ceremony set against the brilliant fall color of rolling Charlottesville, Virginia, hillsides. Their wonderful guest list included Danica Patrick, who drives and races the #7 GoDaddy car in both the IndyCar and NASCAR series. We met "Ace of Cakes" TV star Duff Goldman and filmed the unveiling of the spectacular groom's cake, a life-sized Ducati motorcycle cake with electronic ignition, lights, and exhaust! Charm City Cakes of Baltimore, Maryland, also made a towering 10-tier wedding cake tastefully adorned with special family photos. The Keswick Hall patio area was transformed into a tented grand ballroom decorated with miles of warm-toned neutral, draped fabrics and glowing chandeliers. Guest were also entertained with a cozy lounge area and not one, but two dance floors. No expense was spared on this lavish event and I'm sure the provocative pair also left their own fabulous impression on Italy as well. Thoroughly enjoyed producing a wedding film that expresses Bob and Renee's romantic storia d'amore!

VISIONS OF CABO

Monisha and Calvin's intimate wedding and reception at the Westin Resort & Spa in Los Cabos, Mexico, was certainly a vision of la buena vida, "the good life!" Good life meaning to be caught up in the divine celebration of a most gracious and caring couple filled with life and love. The bright sun, bronze desert, crashing surf and white sands all rejoiced together as Monisha and Calvin spoke their personal commitments to each other. Paul and I were honored to fly approximately two thousand miles to the tip of Baja to experience and capture the essence of picturesque Mexico for their wedding film. We were extremely impressed with the Westin Resort as an event location and the coordination of events by Lerkia Lee-Tidball was seamless. She and Maryland based photographer, Michael Clark, were a pleasure to collaborate with on this fabulous wedding. As cinematographers, we were blessed with what had to be the most ideal outdoor climate ever for filming. Each day offered a different treasure for us to capture. It truly was an artist's dream. Wherever my eyes wandered, I had to pause and catch my breath. I must admit that even after darkness fell and it was time to sleep, I didn't want to close my eyes for fear that God had something more for me to see. Every day was like this for us and then the wedding day was the absolute culmination of all things beautiful because we witnessed the happiness between Monisha and Calvin. In a wedding vignette that absolutely exudes romance, we are honored to feature their wedding. I am smiling because a deep satisfaction has settled in my heart as I read Monisha's sweet words to us, "Our hearts are filled with joy and excitement knowing we are in good hands. You were so friendly - it was just right that you were there for us." Our sentiments exactly, Monisha and Calvin...Dios Le Bendice!
